My Rowe Design by House Sprucing
Inspired by her journeys, Heather looked overseas for the creative spark that began her My Rowe Design. “The inspiration for our My Rowe Design space was British charm,” says the designer, an enthusiastic Anglophile. “I had the opportunity to live in London for six months, and I am very inspired by their use of textures, their traditional wainscoting, their pops of color from space to space, and the moody vibes that they bring to their design,” she adds. Our Grady sofa brings a stately sense of luxury in deep mossy green velvet, balanced by a comfortably simple modern silhouette.
“My favorite source of inspiration is travel. I have a serious wanderlust, and my travels greatly influence my design work for almost any project.”
“I love the sitting nook in the My Rowe Design space. I love that it’s extra unique with the upholstered ottomans.”
Ultimately, Heather sees this space as ideal for a style-loving family that also prioritizes comfort. With four children of her own, she often designs with the needs of young families in mind, balancing beautiful design with practical function. Bringing together contemporary wood, traditional plaids and understated elegance created the ideal mix of elements, offering “this moment of sitting on a comfortable upholstered piece with the perfect table, a touch of chandelier and a great wall feature.” Every area is designed with relaxation in mind, says Heather, who “would love to cozy up in this dining corner with some breakfast and a good book!”
“[Rowe has] great products that are not only beautiful and current, but they are so functional for the families that we design for. They make design approachable, and give great options for people to live their everyday lives without worry.”
