Parisian Pied-à-terre
Brittany Simon’s Artistic Escape
Inspired by a love of Paris as her “forever muse,” Britany envisioned her My Rowe Design as a place for embracing the art of beautiful living. “I imagined a pied-à-terre that belonged to the version of myself who gets to live a little bolder,” explains the designer, “filled with curated finds, daring palettes, and expressive artwork.” To achieve this vision, she layered the sitting area with rich colors, tactile fabrics, and unexpected juxtapositions that evoke a sense of collected history. A luxurious peach velvet Dimitry Sectional anchors the space, perfectly positioned by the fireplace for cozy social gatherings.
My Rowe Design is…
Artsy
Elevated
Eclectic
“ Paris is the city where beauty feels effortless, history is layered on every surface, and art pulses through daily life.
“ The Dimitry Sectional’s bold color makes it playful and fun, and reflects my personality — a little daring.

From captivating sculptures to tables perfect for gatherings, every detail reflects Britany’s vision of the occupant as an enchanting hostess. “She’s a global creative,” the designer explains, “probably wearing something totally unique and fabulous, and always entertaining.” This vignette aims to encourage others to craft their own design narratives with Rowe, creating spaces that are full of life, art, and the allure of distant places — perhaps even the City of Lights.

Britany Simon Design House’s Favorites
Room to Design
Living spaces — they set the tone for the whole home. I love the challenge of making them feel chic but lived-in, layered but functional. It’s where people gather, so it’s where the magic happens.
Sources of Inspiration
Fashion, especially editorial fashion and the latest runway show. I’m also forever inspired by fine art, ceramics, old figurative sketches and paintings. And travel — I’m always craving to see something new.
Music to Fuel Creativity
Depending on my mood, I might go more mellow like RY X or Labrinth, or if I am feeling like I need a creative pick-me-up, I may listen to Fred Again or Rufus Du Sol.
“I am loving all the Rowe pieces [that have] a classic silhouette, but with a slightly more contemporary shape and style.”
Travel Destinations
There’s just something extra special about Paris, even a simple walk to a café feels like a visual love affair. Every detail is intentional — every doorway, every railing. It’s the best design class you’ll ever take.
